the journey starts

In this blog I will post my journey from turning my $300 into $1,500 by the end of the year.

I'll start of by giving a little backround into my poker play. I'am not a winning player, I find that I go on tilt very easy and after I take a bad beat I play absolutly terrible. I know this is a very common problem for alot of players and a very costly one to so to fix this situation im gonna pay very close attention to my emotions while I play and stop when I go on tilt.

So next month when party poker offers there new deposit bonus im gonna deposit $300 into there to take advantage of that and play there $.50/$1.00 tables, since im very comfortable at that level and feel I can handle the swings at that level very well. Every month I'll be posting how well the journey is going If I happen to bust out I will try again the next month (practice makes perfect). I know I got the game to play and win at poker as long as I can control my emotion's and play like I know I can. Also gonna limit my play to 3 hours a day 5 days a week gonna take 2 days off and just play some freerolls or something but nothing for money. Until next month take care.

What happened to 1500? lol. I read your posts on Talking Poker, and now your Blog. Just take it easy. Work the 300 up slowly, and if your earn rate is high enough then go to the next level. It is very possible to do this. In 6 months I have taken 200 to 3K. It now becomes much easier to make more money at the higher levels (I hope). I am doing ok so far at 5/10.
